Last week, Winyama Contracting Group was proud to host a KDCCI Business After Hours event in partnership with Red Dog Renewables, bringing together businesses and industry representatives from across the Karratha community.
It was a fantastic turnout and a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people and have some valuable conversations about what’s happening across our region.
For WCG, the evening was also an opportunity to share more about our own journey, the projects keeping our teams busy and some of the exciting plans we have on the horizon.
There has been plenty happening across Winyama Contracting Group as we continue to grow our team, capabilities and presence throughout the Pilbara.
Hosting Business After Hours gave us the chance to share some of that progress directly with our local business community and discuss where WCG is heading next.
While projects and growth are an exciting part of that story, evenings like this also remind us that strong businesses are built on strong relationships.
From clients and suppliers to fellow local businesses and industry partners, the connections we have developed throughout the region continue to play an important role in WCG’s journey.
One of the best parts of the evening was simply seeing so many local businesses in the same place.
The Pilbara is home to an incredible network of businesses with a huge range of capabilities, knowledge and experience. Opportunities to connect, collaborate and learn more about what others are working towards are incredibly valuable for the continued growth of our region.
As a local, proudly Aboriginal-owned business, Winyama Contracting Group is passionate about contributing to that network and supporting opportunities that keep skills, investment and relationships within our communities.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening and took the time to catch up with the WCG team.
We would also like to thank KDCCI for continuing to create opportunities for our local business community to connect, and Red Dog Renewables for partnering with Winyama Contracting Group to host the evening.
We loved being able to share a little more about what has been happening at WCG — and, more importantly, what’s still to come.
There are plenty of exciting things on the horizon for Winyama Contracting Group, and we look forward to sharing more soon.
